Postgraduate Diploma in Economics (London School of Economics), MBA (BI Norwegian Business School) and Bachelor in Business and Management (University of Salford).
Head of the department of Accounting and Financial Reporting. Worked previously as head of valuation and accounting at NBIM (the Norwegian oil fund), where Granquist had several other leadership roles in the financial area. Previously worked in banking and finance in EY and Simcorp. Has an MSc in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Came to KBN in 2014 from position as director of Norges Bank's secretariat and has previously worked as IT Director of NBIM (the Norwegian oil fund) and administration director of in the department for monetary policy in Norges Bank. Bache holds an MBA from the Norwegian Business School (BI).
Heads the department of Corporate Communications and Public Relations. Previously he worked as partner and advisor in PR agency Kreab Gavin Anderson. Steinsland has beeb employed as a financial journalist in various print and broadcast media. Steinsland has a finance degree in from NHH .
Personal assistant to the President & CEO. Previously held a similar position in Atea and Ferd. Paulsen has a good knowledge of corporate communication in addition to working with governing bodies. Paulsen has intermediate and business studies from BI.
Birkeland heads both Treasury and Funding & IR, and started working for KBN in August of 2017. Previously, he held the position as Finance Director with the insurer Storebrand, where he has been employed for two periods (first from 1998-2006 and then from 2010-2017). In-between he worked as a researcher at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. Birkeland also received his Ph.D. in Economics from this institution – placed in his hometown of Bergen.
